Are you looking to escape to the country and trying to choose from the many crafting breaks on offer? Maybe you’re planning a hen do and want something that all generations will enjoy? Or a catch-up with friends? As we run a boutique B&B in the charming honey-stoned Yorkshire village of Wykeham, near Scarborough, we can offer a unique break.
Flowers, crafting and pampering
There’s no need to tidy up glue guns and ribbons at the end of the day here in our dedicated studio space. Enjoy home-made treats and expert tuition. Views overlooking the garden, summerhouse and fields beyond. En-suite facilities.
What’s included in a crafting break
- Bed and breakfast accommodation
- Teas, coffees and homemade cakes served on vintage china
- Lunches made from local produce
- A mindfulness practice from Alison of Settling The Butterfly
- Floral design demonstrations followed by the opportunity to make your own arrangement or craft piece of your choosing
Tailored to suit you
We try to use local produce wherever possible and always use free range eggs from pampered happy hens. You are very welcome to bring your own wine or champagne. Please let us know in advance if you or any of your guests have special dietary requirements.
For up to six people
We have two double rooms and one twin room. Please take a look at B&B at No 23.
Alternatively, if you prefer not to share a bed, there are more rooms available at the nearby Downe Arms. This is just one minute’s walk away.
